————————————–WEEK #10————————————–

  1. Zombie Ace

Zombie Ace is a spectacular entertaining game. The Objective is to fly across 14 cities of America and infect them :P Gameplay is really smooth and artwork is just wow! You’ve over 100 missions within the game which you can complete by upgrading your plane or choosing from 5 different zombie ace pilots. There will be obstacles in the middle, but nothing much to worry about. Loads of helping components in the game like stickers and cash which will help you complete levels faster. I highly recommend trying this game out. Oh and did I mention, this is developed by the same guys who developed ‘Machinarium’ :D :D

  2. Zombro

Zombro is a puzzle genre game. To be honest I’ve never seen a concept so unique till now. The objective is to detach Zombro’s basic elements(torso, legs and brain) to jump, dodge and roll to make sure he completes each level in one piece. The puzzle level is very much above mediocrity. There are around 50 levels you can play after IAP for $0.99+$0.99. I wasn’t that thrilled with the artwork though, gets very repetitive and boring after a while. And if you’re one of those players who likes to customize the attire of their protagonist, then there are loads of IAP for those kinda stuff in the game.

  3. Inertia: Escape Velocity

First reaction I had when I played this game was “WHOA!”. You are Hermes, a high-tech scavenger who can turn his personal gravity on and off at will. You have to utilize your power to control Inertia to leap, hover, bounce, float, and zoom through intriguing challenges and deadly obstacles in this beautiful 3D platform game. The tutorial in the beginning is actually helpful and very much needed to complete the 35 amazing levels available. Gameplay is very smooth and the triggering point for me was the MUSIC of this game, it is just very stimulating. You can change the layout of your controls too, which I found pretty cool and new. The Lite version is available so I suggest you try that one out first.

  4. Cheezia

Cheezia is a very cute and simple game. Objective is to pack cheese and deliver them across the world. How you do that is, put the falling cheeses into packages that match with crates on the conveyor. To do this, you must create the package by rotating the mouse wheels. When you think you have the correct package, tap it to drop it into the crate and see if it goes through quality control. You’ve bonus available in the game if your production is good enough and if its not then game over :( Oh and just a reminder, you need Adobe AIR available on your device before you can play this game.
  5. Flip Riders

Ever wanted to be a stuntman and ride your way into glory? Well here you go, Flip Riders! A highly nurtured 3D game which will allow you to perform jumps, wheelies, 360’s, front flips, back flips, and various aerial maneuvers. You’ve 5 riders to choose from and initially only 2 are available. There are 2 modes in the game : Easy peasy and Extreme Riders. 6 unique worlds delivering around 60 levels and you can choose from 3 different control layouts. Gameplay is decent enough and music is too vibrant. One really cool thing you should check out in the game is the ‘Trick Mode’, something like Max Payne slow motion thing :)
  6. Call Reminder Notes

A very very handy application for your device. CRN allows you to attach a note to a contact which will pop up when you’re either calling the person or receiving a call from them :) You can even set the date on which the reminder note should appear for the contact, how cool is that! You’ll never forget any detail which you were supposed to talk about after installing this app :)
  7. Apex Launcher

Last week I reviewed TSF Shell (still my fav. launcher), but a lot of my subscribers said its makes their device laggy. So here’s my 2nd choice, Apex Launcher. There’s only one glitch, it needs minimum requirement of 4.0 OS i.e ICS. Loads of customization features available and I especially liked the ‘lock desktop’ feature, which protects you from making any changes accidentally. It doesn’t take a lot of your memory and still runs very very smoothly. I recommend you give this one a try if TSF is not working out for you. The PRO version is also available if you’d like to give that a try :)
  8. Simi Folder Widget

SiMi folder Widget helps you organize your stuff on the screen. You can make a folder consisting of apps, contacts, bookmarks, tools and shortcuts. Customize it the way you want, you can even make it INVISIBLE on the screen by choosing one of its layout. Its a very handy app if you like lot of stuff on your screen but don’t want to clutter it too much :)
